Question 1

What makes PARCL different from a delivery app?

Accepted Answer

Nothing is delivered. You order while you are already travelling, and the restaurant times preparation to your arrival. You walk in, pick up, and leave. The food never sits waiting, and neither do you.

Question 2

How does PARCL know when I will arrive?

Accepted Answer

PARCL estimates your arrival from your live route and traffic conditions, then keeps that estimate updated as you travel. The kitchen sees the same number you do.

Question 3

What happens if I am running late?

Accepted Answer

Your arrival estimate updates continuously and the kitchen is notified. Preparation shifts with you, so the food still finishes close to the moment you reach the counter.

Question 4

Do I have to be driving to use PARCL?

Accepted Answer

No. Order from a car, a cab, the metro, or on foot. If you are moving toward a restaurant, PARCL works.

Question 5

What does PARCL cost?

Accepted Answer

A flat ₹25 platform fee per order. There is no delivery charge, no surge, and no distance pricing.

Question 6

What commission does PARCL charge?

Accepted Answer

4.5% on order value, plus the ₹25 platform fee paid by the customer. Delivery marketplaces typically charge 18–25%.

Question 7

Do I need new hardware?

Accepted Answer

No. The Partner app runs on the tablet or phone you already have. Orders arrive with an arrival time and a suggested start time.

Question 8

How long does onboarding take?

Accepted Answer

Most outlets are live within a day: menu import, pickup point setup, and a short walkthrough with your counter team.

Question 9

Will this disturb my kitchen flow?

Accepted Answer

It usually does the opposite. Arrival-aware tickets reduce early cooking, counter pile-up, and reheats, because each order has a place in time rather than arriving all at once.

Question 10

How accurate is arrival-time synchronisation?

Accepted Answer

Estimates are recalculated throughout the journey rather than fixed at checkout, and the kitchen receives a start window rather than a single instant, so normal traffic variation is absorbed.

Question 11

What is the architecture built on?

Accepted Answer

A modular service architecture on managed cloud infrastructure, with real-time order events, autoscaling, and dual payment gateways for redundancy.

Question 12

How is my location data handled?

Accepted Answer

Location is used to estimate arrival for your active order and is not sold or shared for advertising. Payments run through PCI-compliant gateways; PARCL never stores card details.

Question 13

Which cities are live?

Accepted Answer

PARCL launches in Jaipur, a market with more than 8,500 food outlets. Expansion follows density of commuters and partner outlets rather than city size alone.
